Does BackMe contact emergency services?

No. BackMe only emails the contacts you selected. In a real emergency, call your local emergency number first.

Will my contacts see each other on the email?

No. Each contact gets their own individual email — no shared To: line, no CC.

Does BackMe send my location?

Only if you opt in for that timer. When enabled, the email includes your coordinates and a Google Maps link.

What happens if my phone has no internet at the moment?

Email delivery requires connectivity. If the device is offline at expiry, delivery may be delayed or fail.

Is my data shared or sold?
